What a great event the concert in the park turned out to be. I traveled from Baltimore just for the event. We tossed down a blanket on the grass outside the pavillion (along with many, many others) and enjoyed it tremendously. Thanks for the herculean effort it took to bring this off!

sorry i had to write again. on fruit tree you have the guitar wonderfully and the voice cuts through me like all great voices should. 2 months ago an english folk singer called Keith James toured the UK playing a complete nick drake set and doing it well. if you'd like a recording of him let me know.

We too were so saddened by Bobby Short's passing. JPM and I are big fans-yet another reason why you are our "couple-soul-mates". I never got to see him play-we were saving the Carlyle for a special occasion. Now it is one of the biggest shoulda, woulda couldas of my life. Thanks for paying your respects so beautifully to one of the classiest acts ever.
